How it works
Ten minutes to set up. Then call it and try to break it.
You forward your business line, tell Tendease what you do and when you're open, and test it from your own cell. No customer hears it until you say so.
14 days free, no credit card. From $79 a month after that.
No IT department required
Four steps. No developer, no headache.
Step 1 · about four minutes
Forward your number. It stays yours.
Your business line stays with your carrier and in your name. You forward it to Tendease, and you can switch forwarding off whenever you like. Nothing on your trucks, your signs, or your Google listing has to change. If you'd rather start with a fresh local number, you can have one of those instead.

Step 2
Tell it about your business, or let it read your website.
Services, prices, hours, service area, and the questions your team answers on autopilot. Type it once, or paste your web address and correct whatever it pulls in. Then pick a voice and a greeting.

Step 3 · the one that matters
Call it yourself.
Before any customer gets it, you do. Call your number from your cell and give it a hard one. Mumble your address. Ask for a service you don't offer. Say it's an emergency. A minute later the text summary lands on your phone, and that's what every call looks like from then on.
If it gets something wrong, you fix the answer in two taps. Better you catch it than a customer.
Step 4
Go live.
Switch it on and go back to work. It picks up on the first ring, day or night, and books straight into the calendar you already use. There's no new software for your crew to learn and no app they'll forget to open.

Fine, a few burritos. About 10 minutes, start to finish.
What happens on a call
The phone rings while you're working. Here's what happens next.
-
1
It answers.
On the first ring, with your business name. Middle of a job, middle of dinner, middle of the night.
-
2
It gets the details.
Name, address, what's wrong, how soon. It reads the address back before it books, and asks again if it isn't sure. A wrong address is a lost job, so it doesn't guess.
-
3
It books on your calendar.
It offers the openings you really have and puts the job on the calendar you already use. The caller gets a text confirmation.
-
4
It texts you a summary.
Who called, what they needed, what got booked. You read it when your hands are free.

Hi, is this Northside Heating? My furnace just quit and it's freezing in here.
It is, and I'm sorry about the cold. Let's get someone out today. What's the address?
412 Birchwood Lane.
412 Birchwood Lane, B as in boy. I have a tech open at 2:00 or 4:30 today. Which works?
2:00 is great.
You're booked for 2:00 PM. A text confirmation is on its way to you now.

When a call isn't routine
You stay the one in charge.
Urgent calls ring straight through to your cell.
You decide what counts as urgent: no heat, water on the floor, a same-day cancellation. When a caller says one of those, your phone rings and you take it from there.
Ringing your cell · urgent
Active leak, 88 Alder Street. Caller is on the line.
If it can't answer something, it takes a message or rings you.
It won't make up a price or promise a time you don't have. It tells the caller it will get them an answer, then texts you the question right away. If they'd rather wait for a person, it rings you.
Text to you · message
Caller asked if you install tankless heaters in mobile homes. I didn't have that, so I took a message. Wants a call back today: (555) 019-8871.
What you get
A text after every call, and one recap at the end of the day.
You don't come home to forty voicemails at 9pm. You get one readable recap: who called, what they needed, what got booked, and the one or two calls that might be worth a personal callback.
Spam calls and hang-ups show up in the recap as a count. They never count against your plan.
